Well, Thoreau had his Walden, and now I have my Fall Creek Falls. Once I become famous, it will not remain the quaint little hiking/fishing/boating place it is. It's really not so bad once you get over the initial impression.

This morning it rained and thundered quite loudly. I worked on the laptop regardless, being the daredevil that I am. I also found my way to the general store, where there is quite the supply of souvenirs. You have been forewarned.

As of now, it is still cloudy, but I think I will take a break and go back to said general store because there is also a homemade craft store there that may yield even better souvenirs.

I did eat at the buffet. Once will be quite enough. I shall subsist for the remaining 48 or so hours on Cheerios and whatever the general store has. Hopefully the rain will pass so I can actually take a hike. Think I will see Maribeth?
