a 3day quiz

though we are not walking today, a quiz from last week is in order.

luanne is:
(a) bemoaning her hard day at work as a coal miner
(b) trying to beg for change at the shell station
(c) realizing that the exhaust from her close encounter with the fence in the middle of west end will not wash out of her 3day shirt


lynnette is:
(a) blatantly ignoring federally mandated traffic signs
(b) trying to pick up men with her fanny pack, poncho, and knee brace combination
(c) putting all shame aside in order to complete the dreaded 18 mile 3day training walk


luanne and lynnette are:
(a) delirious (or is it drunk?) from walking past the bars on broadway at 9am
(b) debating whether or not to call family members to pick them up from riverfront
(c) pausing to take a pic in order to prove that they actually did make it to the riverfront, 10 miles after setting out from springdoik
the rainbow is:
(a) nothing more than a photoshop addition to a pic of harris teeter
(b) leading to a leprechaun and a pot of gold
(c) reminding luanne and lynnette that they did not carry the ponchos in vain--it very well could have rained

sadly i have no pictures of steve, who was kind enough to bring a forgotten visor and a left-behind bottle of water toward the beginning of the walk, or molly, who was kind enough to bring aspirin and ice-cold washcloths toward the end of the walk. maribeth, currently hiking the at is excused from 3day duties. sam came over to springdoik after the walk to help polish off fried mac and cheese.
