No More Excuses
Apparently the weekend contributors to this blog are clearly failing in their responsibilities. Molly thinks because she posted on Friday, that her Saturday obligation is forfeited. However, as I told her, while extra blogging is allowed and encouraged, it in no ways precludes your regularly assigned post. Sam went to Chattanooga this weekend, but still had nothing to report. I feel I should also mention Maribeth, since she manages to have zero days but still cannot find a library or some computer somewhere to drop in a post. Sadness all around.
Meanwhile, I continue to do my part, even in the midst of great physical recuperation from a killer stomach bug and possible head concussion. I hope this reprimand does the trick.
So, now that I have vented, I shall discuss something else, like my current reading. I read the new book by the author of the pants book. My review: mediocre, unless I was a young girl who had read all the pants books and wanted to move up an age group. I thought it was predictable and unoriginal.
I am also reading the elephant water book of Lynnette's. So far I like it, although I did not get to read it during my California vacation, as I was too busy throwing up. (It didn't even make it out of my bag).
I am also reading the traveling book by Max Lucado. Maybe I can lighten up.
To add to the mix, I am planning to start the macrobiotic book, hoping it will improve my eating habits. I am getting old, you know.
Well, so much for my reading list. I hope everyone has had a lovely Labor Day. Sorry to Lynnette, who had to go to school today, unless she loves learning so much it was a treat for her.
